Right Moves For Youth Students To Roll Up Sleeves For Spring Clean Up At Leafcrest Apartments
What:
More than 50 students from Right Moves for Youth (RMFY) will join members of Elevation Church in a massive clean-up project at the Leaf Crest Apartments, a Charlotte Housing Authority community. Two-hundred church members, as well as dozens of RMFY students, will mulch areas, paint lines on the basketball court, plant flower bulbs around the complex and pick up trash and brush around the grounds.

Right Moves for Youth is a nonprofit organization that works with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students in a group setting. Students participate in clubs in more than 70 school-based sites with a volunteer base of more than 500 individuals. Volunteers promote positive youth development by enhancing participants' academic accomplishments, leadership ability, life skills awareness, self-esteem, civic responsibility and cultural awareness.
Elevation Church recently contributed $30,000 to RMFY. Now, RMFY members are saying thanks by participating in the church's week of volunteer activities.
