The Charlotte Housing Authority has
a wide variety of safe, decent housing options for low
income and moderately low income families, individuals,
seniors and disabled persons.
We offer housing opportunities in:
- Mixed Income Developments
- Assisted (Low Income) Housing Developments
- Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers
CHA provides its residents with a variety
of services that promote and develop self-sufficiency
and create home ownership opportunities. CHA strives
to enrich the lives of our residents by partnering with
other non-profit social service providers, municipal
governments and state governments to provide educational,
recreational and lifestyle programs tailored for youth,
families, seniors and disabled persons.
CHA provides some case management services
and works to link residents with other supportive service
organizations to meet their specific needs. Tenants
are also able to participate in the management process
by becoming a part of our Resident
Advisory Council.
